Contents are front and center at every WordCamp and what draws people in: first-timers might want to discover WordPress, as well as long-time users, who want to discover all its secrets.
WordCamps are open to everybody: designers, bloggers, developers, marketers, copywriters, enthusiasts, or just curious folks.
WordCamps are inclusive and accessible events. We are happy to have speakers of every age, background, and level of expertise.
You don’t need to be a professional speaker, you just need to be skilled and passionate about what you’re going to talk about, and have a strong desire to share your knowledge. It’s the spirit of sharing that keeps WordPress and the whole community alive and thriving.
If this is your first experience as a speaker, or you would like feedback on your talk, we also offer a great mentoring service to help you fine-tune your presentation!

Presentation format
You can choose between these formats for your presentation:
- Long Talk
Standard session: 30 minutes.
It’s up to the speaker to allocate the available time between the presentation and Q&A. - Lightning Talk
Short session: 10 minutes
We group two 10-minutes presentations in a 30 minutes slot, with the final 10 minutes available for Q&A.
This year, we’re accepting entries for presentations in both Italian and English language.

Some more things to keep in mind
- We welcome of any age and background: WordCamps are inclusive and accessible events
- You don’t have to be a professional speaker, but we do expect you to be proficient in the topic you’ll present
- Your session is not meant to promote your own products or services. If your session explains how you used WordPress to build something that can be useful for everybody and you would like to present a case study, that’s ok, but no sales pitches will be allowed (including slides with books, courses, coupons, and links to sales pages).
- If you’ll be accepted as a speaker, the text you’ll submit in the Bio, Session title, and Session Description form fields will be used on the site. Please check the information provided with care. Also, please note that we might edit some of the text provided to adjust it to the rest of the content on the site.
- Please pay attention to the capital P in WordPress and make sure you comply with WordPress copyrights
- If you want to submit more than one presentation entry, please make sure to fill out a form for every single presentation
- You are required to review your slides by October 30, 2022, in order to make sure that they comply with the rules on copyright, GPL license, and Code of Conduct.
- We kindly ask you to accept these rules only if you actually read them.
- No payment or reimbursement of expenses will be due to speakers, WordCamps are based on the voluntary contribution of everybody involved
